Lucy Pendon of Texas, USA (in denims) visited the Gawad Kalinga Housing Project in Onyx along with some Rotarians and Anns of the RCFMP.

In 2001, RCMFP member Tony Strange donated 40,000 Philippine pesos to jumpstart this project while other rotarians donated the computers and facilities to the National Vocational Rehabilitation Center (NVRC) in Quezon City which teaches computer servicing and repair. Under the auspices of the government's Dept of Social Welfare and Devpt.(DSWD), the program, which was started by PP Rudy Robles is ongoing till now.
