Renewal of Matched Club Agreement with RC Iloilo City

Last 25 July 2008, RC Forbes Park represented by myself as President and PP Charlie Uy & Ann Kelly Uy graced the induction ceremonies of RC Iloilo City. Our visit came as a very pleasant surprise to most RC Iloilo City officers as they did not expect our attendance. During the ceremonies PP Beck Maravilla & President Joe Totengco acknowledge the relief goods (rice, mats and slippers) RC Forbes Park contributed. They detailed how the goods benefited a lot of the typhoon victims. They were very proud to announce that they were able to distribute 8 kilos of rice per family (instead of the usual 1 kilo) thanks to RC Forbes Park.

On the same occasion, we renewed our sister club agreement with RC Iloilo City, promising cooperation in the various avenues of service of Rotary.

Allow me to invite members to contribute articles through our e-groups as well as to give feedback on how we can improve our communication system in the club. I also invite those who have not signed up. If you know any member who has not signed up, encourage them to do so now. Cheers!
